Arrive
and Survive
1) Be there, or be forever square.
2) Know where it is.
View Map
3) Arrive and Park legally.
Info
This page also
contains a list of places within a short walking distance of Camp Bolio.
4) Better yet, bike, or take the bus.
MST
The bus stops at
Reeside, just one short block away.
The pedestrian crossing at Reeside is the
closest one to Camp Bolio.
Please use it. Jaywalkers will
probably be killed.
5) Bring the
right stuff.
a) Be prepared in case Old
Man Winter shows up: a tent for shelter from rain or cold,
umbrella/slicker/poncho
b) Be ready for days
that might be sunny and warm: sun hat, sun screen
c) Be flexible on food: we don't know
how many people will show up, nor how much food will be donated,
so
bring some for yourself, some to share, and cash in case you want to
walk down to the deli for a sandwich
d) If you are planning to stay awhile,
bring your own plate, utensils, and coffee mug
6) Don't dis the General (public):
guidelines for non-violent
protest
7) We've been asked to stay away from the gates and secondary
inspection areas,
and stay off of the grass in front of the Scout
hall. Keep to the ocean side of the
road that goes through Lower Presidio Park.
8) Don't leave the place a mess. We're activists, not a
cleaning crew.
